On-Call Medic Services

At Amphibious Medics, our on-call professionals understand that every second counts in an emergency. But our commitment doesn’t end after providing first aid—what happens next is just as important. Through our dedicated care management services, we go above and beyond to ensure a seamless recovery process. From follow-up care to ongoing support, we prioritize your employee’s well-being while giving you peace of mind every step of the way.

Highly Trained Technicians

We equip our on-call medics with training on our proprietary Incident Recordability Avoidance and Mitigation Program (IRAMP), a comprehensive medical protocol developed and reviewed by board-certified physicians. This program bridges the gap between ambulance care and clinic treatment, ensuring that care provided in the field is aligned with best practices. IRAMP is designed to prevent recordability and avoid over-treatment, ensuring the most appropriate level of care for each situation.

IRAMP Benefits:

  • Reduces the risk of unnecessary over-treatment
  • Decreases the likelihood of an unnecessary recordable injury
  • Reduces the need to file a time-loss worker’s compensation claim

Ongoing Communication

We assign every on-call incident to a dedicated coordinator, or incident commander.

The incident commander’s role is to:
  • Act as liaison between your site personnel and Amphibious Medics’ higher Medical Directorship (if necessary)
  • Provide the incident paperwork upon call completion
  • Remain accessible as you communicate with us and update changes during the incident

Incident Follow-up

After an on-call technician treats the injured employee, they will facilitate the return-to-work process. However, following up with the injured employee is crucial to ensure their status remains mitigated and properly managed.

The goals of incident follow-up include:
  • Thoroughly assess the status of the employee’s injury
  • Track recovery
  • Maintain non-recordable status

Occupational Health Services

Our on-demand occupational health services can save time for you and your employees.

A medical technician can perform the following services on-site:
  • Thoroughly assess the status of the employee’s injury
  • Track recovery
  • Maintain non-recordable status
  • Collect specimens
  • Test for drugs and alcohol
  • Complete screenings
  • Perform audiometric exams
  • Give vaccinations
  • Conduct pre-employment fit-for-duty exams
  • Provide health and wellness clinics
